Kongoussi is a small town with 70.000 inhabitants 100km north of the capital Ouagadougou.

2007 Aited equipped a computer classroom at the lycee provincial of Kongoussi, which was now transfered to the lycee privee de l'amite, to a building specifically built for that purpose.

The most talented pupils should be given lessons in word processing, spreadsheet applications, image manipulation and the usage of the internet.

The room equipped with air condition and glazed windows was built by the austrian organization "Hilfe Direkt" and enables the clean usage of the computers.

Internet was installed for the whole class by Aited this february, so the room can bring a profit as a cybercafe at times when there are no courses held for pupils. This money will be used for maintainance.
